On the 26th of April, 2019, our school joined hands with the Scientific Development Research Organisation to celebrate Global Astronomy Day. The SDRO was represented by Dr. Sarvesh Bhardwaj, an astrophysicist and his team who curated 2 workshops for the students. The first was a STEM Challenge where the students learnt about various transportation options in space travel followed by creating gliders. The second was the Night Sky Observation where the students watched a newly formed star and the Nebula through the telescope. The school was also very honoured to receive a telescope from SDRO and hopes to continue creating such dynamic opportunities for its students.
